Healing Scriptures from the Word of God

 

He sent His word, and healed them,

and delivered them from all their  destructions.   Psalm 107:20

 

If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God, and will do that which is right in His sight,

and will give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee,

which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord (Jehovah Rapha) that heals thee.   Exodus 15:25-26

 

My son give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.  Do not let them depart from your eyes,

keep them in the midst of your heart, for they are life to those who find them,

and health to all their flesh.  Proverbs 4:20-22

 

Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken...

God’s Love and Power

 

For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare

and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.  Jeremiah 29:11

 

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them

all.  Psalm 34:19

 

 

Jesus the Healer

 

Jesus was going about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and

proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every kind of disease

and every kind of sickness among the people. Matthew 4:23

 

And when evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed

and cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were ill. Matthew 8:16

 

You know of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power,

who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.  Acts 10:38

 

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

 

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. 

He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind,

to set free those who are oppressed to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19

 

 

Promises to Believers

 

Beloved, I desire above all things that you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers.   III John 2

 

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;

because I go unto my Father.  And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do,

that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  If ye shall ask anything in My name I will do it.  John 14:12-14

 

Oh Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you healed me.   Psalm 30:2

 

With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.  Psalm 91:16

 

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.   Psalm 118:17

 

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget none of His benefits. 

Who pardons all your iniquities who heals all your diseases;

Who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion.  Psalm 103:1-4

 

I sought the Lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.  Psalm 34:4

 

Promises to the Church

 

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord

and the prayer offered in faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up

and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven.  Therefore, confess your sins to one another

and pray for one another so that you may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.    James 5:14-16

 

These signs shall follow those who believe...and they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.    Mark 16:18

 

Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and

by Your outstretched arm!  Nothing is too difficult for You.  Jeremiah 32:17

 

He, Himself, took our infirmities and carried our sicknesses.  Matthew 8:17

 

Christ became a curse for us having redeemed us from the curse of the law.  Galatians 3:13

 

Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. 

But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities;

the chastening for our well-being fell on Him, and by His stripes we are healed.   Isaiah 53:4-5
